Brighouse held its first Market in the Spring of 2010 with only 25 stalls, these Markets have grown each time and now the Brighouse Markets have over 50 stalls full of locally produced Foods and Crafts. In 2012 the BBI won the NABMA Best Small Speciality Market in the UK.
If it’s food you’re looking for, then we have locally made cheeses, bread made by local bakers, meat from local farmers and a great selection of cakes and sweets. Jams and chutneys made from locally sourced fruits or delicious pork pies from a local pig farmer to a delicious chocolate fountain.
In case you feel hungry during your visit we have a wide variety of street food, from a Pakistani street buffet to a hog roast or Mongolian stir-fry to Pie and Peas, there is sure to be something to tickle your taste buds.
There is a wide selection of locally produced crafts, ranging from jewellery to glassware, soaps to ceramics and bags to knitwear.
To keep you entertained throughout the day from school choirs to brass bands, fairground rides and for the little ones we also have donkey rides, so whatever you are looking for then you are sure to find it at our Artisan Food and Craft Markets.
